At Irish Hospice Foundation we believe every death matters ? and we
only have one chance to get it right. Our vision is for an Ireland
where people experiencing dying, death and bereavement are provided
with the care and support they need. ?
We are an innovative, energetic, and purposeful organisation which
shines a light on specific areas of need in end-of life and
bereavement support. We then actively advocate, invest, and develop
responsive services and programmes.
We deliver our work through our team of skilled and compassionate
staff and through partnerships with government, state organisations,
other not-for-profit organisations, and a wide range of other
stakeholders.?
The Board of Irish Hospice Foundation (IHF) now wishes to appoint a
CEO who is committed to its vision and mission. The role of the CEO is
to:
* Lead the development of the IHF strategic plan and develop future
strategies.
* Be lead advocate on all aspects of IHF Vision.
* Inspire and engage both internal and external stakeholders to
build on the already strong impact of IHF
* Lead, empower and develop the IHF team
* Continue to build on strategic partnerships to maximise influence
and impact
* Oversee the management of a broad range of programmes and
services?
Ideally, candidates for the role will have a demonstrable open and
inclusive leadership style. With strong advocacy skills, they will
have experience developing and delivering strategic ambition, an
exposure to partnership in health programmes, training and education
and will have strong influencing and communications skills together
with the vision to plan for the future growth and development of IHF.

in which people in Ireland experience dying, death and bereavement and
to impact a wide range of beneficiaries through dynamic services that
reflect our changing society.
